@Kirk, Thanks man. It's good to be back and have everyone with like minds checking out and appreciating my projects.
Doug - I love the etching!
cool thanks !
@Joanne, I started with a lamp that originally had white wax, such as a blue and white, for example. I then drained the liquid from the blue and white, and kept only the white wax. I took the clear liquid from another lamp and poured that into this one but not before adding some blue wax, from what I believe was a Lava Louie goo kit, and waited until I had sky blue. Poured in the clear liquid and voila. Its been literally years since I did this lamp and its unfortunately no longer in my posession, but yeah thats the story. Just keep in mind that any lamp that looks like it has say green liquid and light green wax, the wax is actually white, thus making it look like like a lighter hue of the liquid/color.
is this a goo kit ? and do you mean you had white dye or just the white wax ?
Thank you! I mixed a tiny tiny bit of blue wax with white, which is how I got the color of the wax. As far as the liquid goes I just transferred it from another lamp.
How did you get this white/clear one?
