Yep....it turned clear one night..i fell asleep with the dimmer on full blast and when I got up it was clear goo.  Then I took it down to clean out the inside of the globe and it turned normal, but then after awhile back to clear again.  Once it gets clear it will stay that way unless I drain it, and do a boil down on the wax.  Weird, right?
