I would contact Susan, as they have the new globes....I think lamps plus has old stock
i tried cycling my purple/yellow grande and it did not clear. contact susan at LL and they should send you a new one free of charge.
Maybe run it, and see if it clears? Although...I would definitely try and get a replacement base and cap. I know that my Chinese lavas sometimes arrive cloudy, and so far all of them are clearing with cycling.
