Thanks Pete. ;)
And Bill, sometimes yes, the hole the spray goes into is a little off-center. You can gently bend it, I think. The sprays should be white, not grey. Kiramarie has a good cleaning ritual for cleaning the sprays that involved hot water, Windex and rinsing. You have to be careful though - those fibers break easily.
I run my fiber optics for about 4-5 hours at a time.
I did clean the chrome on mine with a product called Simichrome. However, it did nothing for the pitting on the inside of the lamp. That would need to be sanded off with very very very fine sandpaper. I wouldn't take any sort of sandpaper to the lamp though.
Great photo...peekaboo I can see you !...ROFL... :D
Hi Erin, just received my Fantasia Centurion from the good old USA. Could you please tell me if the adaptor that the fibre optic spray fits into is off set to the hole in the domed top, ie not central. Only mine is off set to one side when the dome is fitted. Could you also tell me if the spray is white/grey in colour and can this be cleaned or is it best left alone? Also how long can you run these lamps for plus did you use chrome cleaner to shine yours up. I am trying to sort out an adaptor to run mine off here in the UK.
now I am feeling like its time to shine up all my bottles and bases today..
this is an amazing fingerprint-less shot..
