Crestworth Astro Mark 1 Base (good flow)

I am really surprised at the flow of this lamp. The lava lite lamps from the 70's that I have purchased tended to have snot-like flow.. not too nice. This lamp has amazing color and fantastic flow. I think this is the original lava too... no signs that I can see that it isn't. I would love to know just how old this lamp really is!
