Crestworth Astro Mark 1 Base (together)

This is the base of what I now see is likely the first version of the Crestworth Astro. It clearly had a cord replaced and is missing the grommet where the cords runs into the base.

Aladdin 2 Lava-

I know! I was looking for a Lantern, then saw a few Astros pop up. I picked the cheapest one, thinking someone would probably nab it. I paid 20 pounds for this on UK ebay. Shipping wasn't too much, though I did have it go to my  forwarding agent. The shipping from there to the US only took a few days. Overall, I am probably in for $100, maybe less. I am stunned that this lamp could be from the very early 60's... possibly 50 years old. If the bottle and lava is original, then it is miraculous.
