Thanks, Crestworth! The first time I ever called Lava-Simplex, circa 1990, they told me about Crestworth and said they had a Crestworth lamp "on testing" (their words) at the Chicago factory. They called it a "Rocket" and described this lamp, and did indeed mention red and blue colors.

The Crestworth Rocket, in my eyes one of the most beautiful lava lamps ever, only too bad that I probably will never own one of them nearly impossible to find them in Germany, very rare on ebay...

Really nice doublet

By the way, congrats to your extraordinary fabulous collection!

These are the two lamps I covet the most of your collection Grant.

When this photo was on here before, I said something like... If they have pups, put me down for one !!!

As far as I know the original colours are as in these two Rockets and these are what I understand to be correct, yet the box tells a different story, but then Mathmos just made generic boxes with all combinations, I like the idea of Green Red and Green Yellow....

I've heard this model originally came in only these two colors. Is that correct?
