Custom metallic globes in marble bases

I wasn't lucky enough to score one of those Lunar Phases lamps,so I thought I'd break out my own metallic lamps instead.

Thanks, John. I started with four "Groovy Motion" lamps (two of each color) that already had the metallic wax, and then began the alchemy of combining the contents and getting them to flow by experimenting with distilled water, glycerine, and different bulbs. Cycled them quite a bit until the fluid cleared and they both worked with standard 40 watt/120 volt bulbs. I used MT dye on the red one, as it was originally a sickly pinkish color.
