Denise, the above is a link to an ebay auction for a 1990's clear pink. By far your best option. My lamp is clear but it has horrible flow. Just golf ball after golf ball. It never has the desired serpentine flow of good lava.I am tempted to return it as it is pretty boring to watch.
My purple neon had small wax smears on the inside when I bought it but they were all gone after the first run. I had one very small wax ball stick to the side since then but it was gone on the next run. I hope my spencers has the pink/clear plaid lamps, I really want to get one when I get over there.
Thanks for the link Kirk. Autumn that is good to hear about the clarity. It has pretty poor flow at this time, but It has not had the chance to get super hot yet. I tried to buy a purple neon but they all had wax on the inside of the globe and one had wax on the outside of the globe. I was bummed I really prefer purple anything.
If my experience with the latest neons applies to this lamp, it should stay crystal clear.

Erin has a photo posted. Seems Mike O (formerly Blind Faith) bought one in Spencer's in March, probably.
When did this cute base come out? Its not perfect, but the globe is clear so far. But its not hot yet....
I think you've got a winner there!
