Yes I see things. When I look at this pic, it looks like 2 snake heads fighting. The fish behind in the tank looks like an all seeing eye. :)

We Lava Lamp lovers are so visual... XD
I have a breeding colony of pure bred wild strain Trinidad Guppies and Cherry shrimps in a heavily planted 3 footer. Lots of colour and movement, bit like a lava lamp :-D
There are some amazing inverts for saltwater set ups, but like you say very expensive.
I've had a number of different type of fish over the years. Large Oscars, Angels, etc. Even Black Crappie which I later found out it was illegal to do. Not sure why...I caught them just decided to let them live instead of knifing them. LOL Now it's just a community tank of Large Goldfish, Tiger Barbs, Gouramis, Neon & other varieties of Tetras, Mollies, Plecostomus. I'd love to make this into a saltwater tank. I have a friend who actually has seahorses. Too cool. But those type of fish are pricey and it would kill me to lose even one. $$$
What fish do you keep Deb ?
Thanks! The night I took this the goo was sooo mesmerizing. It went from snakelike flow to raining down blobs. At this point 2 large columns of goo were intertwining and churning. Reminded me of 2 large snakes wrestling. :)
I like this pic a lot!
