my still kind of new giant Fluidium know-off. I'm pretty pleased with this one after having had to return one before because it arrived totally cloudy. This one is good although it's actually some second choice lamp.
I really wonder how this company gets to rip off the Fluidium design in such a way. Does anyone know if Mathmos knows? Or can the designer, Ross Lovegrove, just sell his designs elsewhere, as well?

Love this!!!
Hello. It's a old post but was there ever an answer to the question where this giant "knock-off" Fluidum is from? I just bought a used one and I'm curious to know who made it. Thank you and cheers from Switzerland. Danny
Heya :)
I wouldn't call it top-heavy, it flows just like a tube lava lamp would but I've not run it a lot and not longer than some 8 or 9 hours I think so it might change if run for a longer period of time. It mostly produces bigger bubbles, not those long and winding worm-like things, but I like bubbles. :)
I got it from a german online shop called addtronic.de but I think they no longer have them in stock. they seem to be sold out at most places by now. there are still a few white/blue ones from one seller on german ebay and german amazon.
Where did you buy it?
Also, what's the flow like?
Is this guy at all top-heavy? I'd almost bet it's not an authorized copy, but it's beautiful.
