Hi Jonas, I know the top leather piece needs to be moved up, these pictures I got from the listing I won the lamp from. My other Boiler lamp like this in Red is already in my pictures, I do not think the lamp is lit in the pictures. Thanks for writing!

Gotta slide the upper cover higher so that it hides the liquid line. This covers the change-over where transparent bubbles rising pop, and the oil globs float back down-- so that all one seesd are clear drops going up and colored ones coming down...!

Can you post photos of the red one?
