And there's really no fix for it. Knowing all lamps end up with these problems is what's stopped me from buying them.

Erin, this is only since July....believe me, the longer i have them, the more they gunk up.  I wish I knew what it even was......I don't ever over heat them or anything anymore.  Just poor quality I suspect.

That's what my Heritage Grandes look like, but worse. Both the pink and green have gunk in the coil/wax.
