Yeah after I took a closer look I saw it was black. The picture on the box does have a silver base with a clear/blue globe no big deal. At least it's a real pic of the lamp....not like today with the new stuff but we all ready know that oh well. Anyway got the seller to come down on the price so I bought it. This will make a perfect addition to my collection!

I just looked its definitely black on ebay, I dont think they came with base color options. And yeah I bought mine new off this random website that sold strange phones.

Looks good! But the base on the lamp on ebay is silver and I see yours is black. Did you buy yours new?
