Found the reason this globe leaked during shipment. Removed the cap last night and the red stopper inside had deteriorated. It was brittle & falling apart. Thankfully the seller sent me a replacement. :)

No cracks Astra.. it was leaking from the cap. Tried tightening with a hose clamp. No go so I sealed with Epoxy. Longer Wiz cap and after liquid expanded it looks amazingly well.

Did you find a crack somewhere?
The red cap should be leakproof.
