That is really cool! Would be cool to find or alter a Nixie to display some kind of weird glyph or symbol in the bulb too.

Being that this is a steampunk prop, odds are, those are not even magnetic prolly just aluminum that was painted since magnets are also very difficult to weld/braze on as these are

you wont believe this.. I have done searches for horseshoe magnets.. but not these in particular... one i want was smaller and more stout.. also not painted.. gunmetal...  pretty heavy and very strong .and fit in kids hand perfect.
