Hey Jonas, I have not received this lamp yet, I will let you know if it works how you think it does. I can't wait to get this and the Purple boiler lamp to see how they work. Thanks for your input! always great to hear from you!
Air bubbles that form near the heat source rise and force oil up the pipe, where it squirts out of a few tiny holes at the top of the coil, so the globules float down again. I think there must be holes at the outer edge of the oil pool that allow oil to flow back into the reservoir underneath, but I'm not certain.
