Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

So I have 2 Florence glitters I’m trying to restore. They’re in very rough shape, switches are shot, don’t yet know if sockets are good. Can anyone tell me what bulb these lamps get? I’ve looked everywhere and all I could find was that the mini version of this gets a 10W bulb. I think this was called the “Astrolite” but I’m not sure. Thanks!!!

Id send them out to be replated brass/copper at this stage-At the very least - polished

you can also open the hole a tad and use a larger HESCO fastener

Let me know if you need any-I have various sizes in stock

I think red. I’m having trouble finding the proper cord width to replace the lamp cords. All the cords they sell today are significantly thicker (and uglier) and don’t fit into the black plastic cord bushing that fits into the lamp. This is going to take me longer than I thought...

Yes, Astro-Lite is the name, and 10 or 15 watt bulbs go in them. I hope they turn out well. What colors are they?

Thank you Erin! I couldn’t find that info anywhere. Was about to use a 25W. I hope I can get these to work - they look really cool.

Should be 15W or 10W.

I think these are the single cylinder Astro-Lites. They will have a very low wattage bulb. Good luck with the restoration.
