Zach, good to know as a few new XL's caught my eye, that is why I try to get the 52oz models from spencers that are marked 2015 and in the round tubes. I have my eye on a clear with blue lava. New in the tube.

Seems like 52 oz lamps had good flow for a while, but the latest 52 oz lamps that say "XL" lamp on the box have crap china flow again and stick to the sides of the globe.

Erin, not totally surprised. I think the only decent new lamps are the 52oz and even some of those are so so. It's hit and miss.

I've run the globe that came with the Lava Insiders lamp a handful of times and it still sucks.

Erin, no biggie. Even if you don't like the bottle, the base and cap mated to an older 32oz bottle should be nice :)

Would be cool if lava lamp made the base and cap available separately for insiders only.

Yes, I mentioned that in your other post about the insiders lamp. I saw plenty of this lamp at a spencers near me. They didn't have one on display but tons of them on the shelf.
