I will ask about fixing it. I took the plastic lid off and it did not seem to have the metal top on it. Just a cardboard circle stuck down over the glass top. It has label inside lid that say 1974 with the model name. Thanks for advice. I ve had this since i got it at a yard sale 30 yrs ago. Ed

Gorgeous (and rare) Saturna model 400. Yours was once sold as a green lava/blue liquid. The wax in these was often a cream color that only appeared green in their blue-green liquid, and it was very prone to fading.

Ask in the problems/questions gallery. There may be ways to "top it off" (it should have about 3/4" to 1" of air space at the top when cool, to allow for expansion) but you don't want to just use water - that'll stop it dead.
