I have found little info on this device. Aside from a strange company website that seems to specialize in tacky ceiling and wall sconces, outdoor lighting and a few incredible plasmas (none of which seem to be available and some rather strange), I have only dug up one YouTube video of a different brand/make and an Ebay listing for a rather beat up one. It has a half back hood to knock it out to black behind the globe, but that still needs to be found. I give you Lightning 2000, the lightning of the FUTURE!

I think it has come to me... I believe the name of the shop I got this globe from back in the 90's was named Mr. Dappy's or Dappy's. I can't find anything on the company right now but I could swear that is the name. Anyone else remember a store by this name? It was like a mirror image of Spencers but they seemed to have a bit more obscure stuffs.
So cool how the bolt breaks twice on the way down.
Ride the lightning lala!
It's like solo ribbons of awesome! I hope it is in good health, I remember the speed control allowing for slow, singular bursts that would crank up to quick scattered lightning. It seems to be sticking to the in between, which is still badass
sweeeeet
