One of my favorite things, my old Cleveland Neon Clock Company neon clock. It is dated 1953 if I remember correctly.

I used to have a hexagonal "neon" (fluorescent) clock that was animated. I must have traded it but I don't remember doing so. Still hunting for another. These are lovely in any form.
The picture is a little dark, in real life it is considered rose and green. I also have the advertising light box that bolts to the top but the advertising glass was broken and gone and I've never gotten around to replacing it. I think it looks great as just a clock. There is an old store in town with one hanging on their ancient marquee and hasn't worked in decades. Owners wouldn't sell it to me though.
Ive always loved these Cleveland clocks! I have several myself. They jump right out at you! There also getting more expensive all the time.
Those things are classics, especially that model! Looks great in those colors which, judging by how many I see with them, may have been popular on the originals. I often see them redone in pink and blue, thought of as fifties colors, but I think the red and green are more proper thirties colors on these.
