HA now it gets to me! I know where I saw this base before! I'm 99% sure that it is a base of a mk I table lamp. the one that have the socket on top, you know? so far I know of two existing and I am dure i have good pics of one on another hdd which I have to dig out anyway coz of other pics...I will have a look and show you.

btw do you have a simple recipe for the custom glitter? where did you get the glitter flakes?

I will dig out mine and compare but I think mine has a different curve shape. yours is smoother and looks more like the shape of a jardiniere...although there never was such a small one...we'll see...I bet we can get this sorted eventually :)

hmm...looking at it more closely I'm almost sure its a rocket base. the finish looks way better and the shape is slightly different. nice find!

as far as I know only the rockets had the greed felt. would be interesting to see a date. is the finish the same? I heard the rockets have a better quality chrome but I sold mine to simon and he told me i actualy had a telstar base...oh well all those comfusing model types, who knows:)

Hi Arne,

I don't have another Telstar, but I noticed it looks smaller than the other I saw on pictures.

There is a green felt underside.

This lamp is unusual: short base, Living Jewel bottle with short cap (the original bottle of this lamp is the one on the right).

Maybe it's because it's an export lamp. (original french plug)
