No, its a 1200 Volt LED lamp,

Just add a regular socket and small transformer to run the fan (Optional)

You can also go full 12V is you wish with this one and MR16 socket

Works pretty much for ANY fiber-optic lamp rebuild and is many times brighter without heat issues

Plus its programmable in case  if you wish to get crazy with the color modes, flash, strobe, etc

so - no motor or colour wheel needed?

just the bulb/fan and maybe transformer?

sorts out all the usual problems in there - nice one

galaxy was rebuilt using 3 watt color changing LED w/remote

riginal fan didnt make the trip from UK

I gutted everything

Added computer fan to make the fibers dance

That looks a really nice Galaxy, with the harder-to-find deep spray.

Good purple colour too - original wheel?

Btw - love the Tardis (diddly dom diddly dom) - can you make it glow?
