Mathmos Neo
I got this from an eBay seller in December 2016. Cost about $158 total. It's a GORGEOUS lamp. I *cannot* photograph it accurately - it's really hard to photograph the globe, which is red liquid with red lava. Base and cap are copper and are smooth and solid. Everything is as it should be, except I can't get the top piece all the way in the base so I can put the screw in.
The globe has a shatter-resistant coating, which you can feel if you gently press your fingernail into it.
Overall, I'm impressed. The quality is top-notch. Running on US power is super easy; I actually had the needed cable/adapter at home. 10/10 - would buy! :)

Absolutely gorgeous lamp. I also opted for the copper finish with violet/turquoise lava.
