Spectacular collection of clocks! I'd love to see more of your 1950s & 1960s German clocks-- that wide one with the brass rim is gorgeous!
I have 30 more cuckoo clocks, all restored like new. And happily the germans mostly save their antique clocks. I will always repair and restore those treasures
I luv the old tyme coo coo clocks!!! Haven't seen one of them in forever.......very nice collection Rebecca!!! My friend started his own clock repair shop some years ago, but had to give it up. Not enough biz. Shame that people have all gone with the current trend of digital and what not. He didn't make enough to survive so gave up the biz. Now his hands are too shaky from age to be able to repair anyway, but he still has the knowledge in his head.
Oooh, there are several. But doe is not rich, the little money i get for repairing and selling clocks is barely enough to survive and pay the bills.
But thank you, thats really sweet of you <3
I repaired and restored all the clocks. I am very good in that. And the clock you mean is from the former GDR ^^
And you get Mathmos/Crestworth lamps on german ebay and flea markets for good prices, still hoping that i get a Lunar. I really wish i could get my hooves some Lava lites here
These are absolutely not available here in germany, its hard to find Lava Lites too
