Wide black masking tape actually.  Vinyl would be better, wouldn't have a threat of leaving adhesive residue behind when/if removed.

I have a short video of it in action, but it is hard to properly capture the color in video.  If I get a chance I'll post it.  I do want to post a video of a LL slow glitter next to Kirk's fast glitter to really show off the difference in the action of each.
