nice example Eliot, i have 2 one is dark copper but been scratched etc, then the other one is almost silver but nicer nick i tend to use the dark version, mine had the old rubber trim like yours as well

Unfortunately it's not one of the really early ones. It has the later bakelite lamp holder and push switch. The trim was on it when I received it, so I presume it's original. It matches the trim on an Astro I have.

now the 2 questions are... does it have the small pebble shaped slide action switch, and is the bulb holder metal copper ? or the black bakelite as used in nordics etc,  anyway lovely early mini :-)
