After a couple of weeks of cycling and really intense cycling over the past few days including overheating it and freezing the bottle at one point, it appears to pretty much be clear again.

The only 30w reflector bulbs I could find are too tall, the glove would hit them with one installed. But I always shop around when I'm anywhere that sells bulbs. A dimmer is helpful too but I'd prefer to just be able to turn it on a go.
I have always wondered if maybe a 40watt bulb is too hot for a 32oz lamp. I think that's why they almost always spike the same way, and overheat so easily. I would like to try one with a 30watt reflector bulb, and see what happened.
Well, it got a lot easier when I bought a timer. The Midnights without the pinholes in the base seem destined to run hot, probably not the best design.
Yay! Congratulations, it looks really nice. :)
...But doesn't cycling SUCK? I've had 2 USA 32oz globes that I've literally been cycling every day for the last 6 months. They're better, but still cloudy! When I got them they were like milk, though. (@_@)
