The former owner was 90 something years old and received it as a gift from a friend. He passed it to his grandson to sell for him who was clearing out his former residence. The grandson was considering making it into a fish tank or listing it online for $100. He had no idea what he had until he posted it online and received a lot of comments letting him know what he had. I offered to buy it and here we are. Btw check your email.

Looks great! Congrats! Epic lava is ALWAYS worth a road trip (and the cash)! I have done many such trips and have made some really great friends in the process.
