LOL hahahhah I was just meaning the wall in your house! Was a big thing in the 60s. At concerts they would dye oils then put them between two sheets of plastic, shine a light through it onto a bed sheet
That, and another phrase also came to mind over that interviewer, Debs. It was sad seeing Syd like that and knowing what was in store for him. :(( But I love em! That interviewer did have to eat his words, eh? Good.
The Wall was released in 1978 MM... ;)
And yeah Miss Mar, those flying bricks were cool to see live. Great visual experience.
As for the interviewer, I was thinking the same thing. The phrase anal retentive came to mind as well. LOL! Makes me sad to see Syd so young and healthy here, knowing how he ended up :(
They need to brick up that dorky interviewer behind the Wall.......Cretin!
The 60s called.....They want there wall back ;-)
OM Gosh, Debs, I'm sure Syd and Roger would have loved to have shoved a drumstick up that interviewer's you know what........had he not already had one up there.....What an ostentatious a**. lol Look at him though....DUH
LOVED the flyingggggg bricks, that was awesome!! They looked like they were gonna come flying right through my screen into my face! Wild!! Oh yes, I think I found you in the crowd..... ;-))
Thankies, just adds to the Lava lamp ambiance. I found that one of the original light men for the Pink Floyd was the inventor. Makes it that much more enjoyable bein a fan and all. Ushered in all future stage light shows. Not a big fan of the early Floyd stuff but seeing Pulse tour lighting in person blew me away. Nothing compares. Here's a sampling of both early and late . And the interviewer in this 60's vid is a total arrogant pompas ahole. Amazed Syd and Roger kept so calm during that interview. But they knew at some point he would have to eat his words and choke on 'em. ;)
Pulse Tour... most organized stadium event I ever attended. No acid crazed dancing in the isle...please return to your seat. LMAO
And Roger Waters follows up with this feast for the eyes. Worth every penny. Look at those bricks flyyyyyyyyyyyyy! And that pig ;) Can you spot me in the crowd?
Wow, I likey lots, Debs!!! Very cool!
I needs an oil projector too... great photo Debs.
