Yes, its a lava bank and I believe the coins just stay within the clear globe part.

The big lamp on the right is a lava bank right? Do the coins slide down the fake blob into the base, or do the coins pile up in the globe?

You have the coolest mix of retro lighting. I wish I could find some of the things you have. I run into those grapes a lot, but most of the time they are plastic.
