Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Engineers from the School of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Leeds built a circular display from LEDs and housed it inside a glass globe. The display, controlled by an iOS app, rotates at 300 rpms, and produces a holographic visual effect. Just saw this and thought to share here pretty cool. Holodecks I think may be just around the corner.

would love to have something like this. May see this in the next few years as a retail purchase. It's gott be able to change images though.
