UPDATE: ETA to ROCKIN' THE BOAT, T-minus 3ish hours
AHAHA! I was waitning for someone to call it out, Pete! I can say this machine is being one at the moment
Looks a bit like a Willy !!!!
Well someone had to say it.... ha ha hee hee...........
UPDATE: I have an empty Pacifica, tomorrow I baste it!
Oh no nick... that's not feking fair !
omg, I totally wrecked my pink kit trying to get out that ghetto lint filter, lol!!!! I started stirring around too much with the coat hanger to try and catch it and I mixed water with the lava. Even after the boil down, I had to trash the lava because it was like a sludge/slurpee even when ice cold!! I redid a whole new pink kit and although I do miss the ability for the old one to sometimes turn clear, it flows much better now. I did reuse the lint filter coil idea, but I cut it and thinned it out to more of the size of an original coil and it flows pretty decent!! I hope you have the same luck with the pacifica vox!!!! fingers crossed!!!
Thanks Pete, I am going to need it as things go.
UPDATE: After getting the vessel all prim and proper I noticed that there was a weird foam in between the two fluids. Spoke with Torrey and he said that the method to fill it back up may have put the surfactant under too much pressure causing it to basically explode itself into a strange foam that doesn't know what fluid to bond with. The recommended steps are to drain the entire vessel into a bucket and use a turkey baster to remove the confused liquid. I have noticed that the foam seems to be dissipating slowly (might all be in my head though) but it still contains some of it
Slow and steady wins the race. After catching a glimpse of this thing in action, before discovering the foam, I am hungry for a lot more. While the foam adds a bit of realism to an actual ocean break it will eventually cause mass chaos inside if it is left inside. My Pacifica duties at this point are to get a container for the fluid, a length of micro fuel line to start a siphon and a turkey baster. I am hopeful that I will fix it but the lingering idea of it being a wounded soldier is still in my head. DON'T PUT YOUR FLUIDS UNDER PRESSURE OR SHAKE THEM!
Everything's crossed for ya Nick !
