What a rare find! I'd kill to get my hands on one with purple oil!
I've had good success with clearing up the top fluid. My method is to syphon out the old liquid slowly with a length of narrow silicone tubing (being careful not to suck up the oil!). Leave about an inch of the old liquid in above the oil. Then syphon distilled water back into the bottle very slowly so the oil isn't disturbed.
Lastly add one very very tiny drop of washing up liquid. The best way to do that is by dipping something like the head of a dart or a fine screwdriver into the washing up liquid to collect some and then transfer one drip into the bottle. Any more than that and the oil will just make a runny bubbly mess.
You should then have a much clearer and nicely flowing bottle!
