Natural environment is find, but our "HOME" is not their natural environment!  I spot one, it's dead meat.  I've been stung 3 times by those horrible things.   They creep me out.   We have huge Wolf Spiders nearly as big as tarantulas too, but I catch them in the "bug jar" and put them back outside.   I used to be scared of spiders----no more.   I wonder if all the critters are liking the heat off my lamps running?   And the light show?   ;-))

lol.. don't get me wrong I'm not 'in love' with e'm and wouldn't want them in my house but left alone in their natural environment is all good. We don't have scorpions where I live and I certainly wouldn't mess with one. Spiders do make me jump when I first spot one but once I know where they are I'm ok.

ja or jah translates to "god" in hebrew.  it's short for yahweh, but the y is replaced with a j.  jamaicans commonly use the word when referring to god.  it can also mean "yes" like ja mon!

Sweet lamps and pic Pete. Very cozy. But I can not share your love of snakes and spiders. Gahhhh.

I have no idea what kind they are Pete, we have tons of snakes here.   But they travel freely, and go unharmed, since I'm only concerned with venomous vipers. ;-)   I need to Google that!
