Thank you G.T.! I agree, I picked it up as a charity auction for abandoned animals, was happy to help the critters but the lamp was just....bad. I think the glass had been painted for coloration as it had flaked off and mucked up the glitter bits.

You guys have made her happy that you enjoy it, I thought the same thing Carol, she is slowly progressing to full blown Lavaitis! She wants me to strip down another base for a second go, on a shiny-happy-bright lamp! I may give her a silver grande base to work up.

You have all made her days, she is thrilled you like it!

Whoa, what a job!!!!  She SOOO is quite the craft QUEEN!!!  Ut oh, the lava bug bit her as far as modding bases now, lololololol!!!  It does get addictive!!!

I have one of those Playboy glitter lamps.  The flow isn't that impressive at all.  This is a much better use for it.  Great job.  Really eye catching.
