Ok I guess when it was made conical washers didnt exist and they made them from nuts as they dont seem to be very symetrical.
Thanks a LOT for al the info and the effort to take the measurments!! I will let you know how it turned out :)
They are screwed, you can see it on the picture, and be aware: bottom is 21,2cm large x2,5cm height (quite heavy) Cosmos is only 1,6cm height
Thanks a lot!! finally I can try to build one of my holy grail lamps! one last question if you dont mind...are those conical washers at each end of the rods threaded and screwed to the rod or are they just sitting there without any thightening to the rod/rectangular part? Again thank yu very very much, I'm waiting to do this for years and now I finally have the missing infos :)
The bottom plate is 21,2cm, rectangular parts is 10,5cm and bottom is cover with felt.
Could you also show me a picture of the bottom of the lamp and pretty please give me the measures of the bottom plate and the rectangular parts? thank you :)
Ohh I had never guessed it's made like this! thank you so much!!!
Hi Arne the upper bar is made of two rectangular partsIMG_1626.jpg
Hey Pascal, is the upper bar with the lamp socket on top round or rectangular?
Would love one of these.
