Its something I've considered Arne, but sure I read on here somewhere that they overheat on an Astro base, and still after all this time hav'nt got round to getting a dimmer socket.

Has anyone tried this ?

Did Mathmos ever release a clear/purple or are the ones that come up on ebay now and then just faded blues !

Its a 90s bottle from ebay last year, the flow is about as good as it gets for me along with my yellow Jet.

I've thought about filling an Astro with yellow Jet formula but can't bring myself to spoil a couple of classic lamps.

Been after a yellow and a purple Astro for ages to complete an Astro rainbow.
