My local Ross in Tucson, Az has these ones in stock. I couldn't resist for only $16.99, that's a steal!! It's also the other heritage series lamp that I wanted, so I now have all of the heritage lamps that I wanted! :)

wow thats really cool! i have a blue/white one but i payed way more than that for it! nice find..especially at a ross store!
Soldier, REPORT! After two kinda-close Ross stores I completed the set I hope you find your Wizard or white/blue. The first store I went to had the red base Wizard, I can swing and snag it/ship it if you want but figured it would cost about the same as buying it new at $30.
My purple/clear looks like yours, slightly hazy but appearing to clear up! The wax is very dark, almost presents as black globe until the wax stretches thin and turns purple. The white/blue is crystal clear and gorgeous. Taking a while to melt but initial spiking did not create any kind of clouds so, lookin' damn good.
Thanks for the luck, I have a couple hours before touchdown but am hopeful. Good luck on the Century/Wiz hunt across town, may we both be victorious!
Awesome! I only need the blue and white century. I'm going to check the Ross across town and see if maybe they got a different shipment, maybe the red wizard?? Or blue and white century?? Good luck on the hunt for the red and yellow!
On the blue and white century, was it slightly hazy at all? Both of mine have been equal levels of slightly hazy, but both are clearing up. Just was wondering if maybe it's a general Ross shipment thing, or just interesting luck with the two I bought.
Still on the hunt for that combo. Found the white/blue yesterday, one of the most gem lamps I have seen in terms of initial cold appearance. Awesome shade of blue, bleach white puck. We will see how she runs today. Another store will be hit today for that one, hope to complete the Heritage Century set, and for under the price of one!
It's actually pretty decent for being a china lamp! It's very slow, much slower than a normal china, but it's always moving. There is never a dull moment. The blobs stretch up from the bottom almost to the top, and then it usually breaks into a large blob towards the top, then that blob slowly separates from itself. It's very relaxing! And it gets all of the way heated up, I know there was many problems with this series, specifically with the centuries, however this one is fine. It was a little hazy the first couple runs, but its actually clearing up! Same with my purple/clear heritage century that I just got. The purple one also flows the same, just a little faster.
How's the flow?
