Hey Spencer, Hmm its a bit of an awkward one bringing back a discontinued lamp if you ask me as it would instantly de-value the ones us collectors have and have spent many £££'s getting our hands on. They could launch a seceond generation of the flocks in different colours or even in the astrobaby bases if they wanted. I hope Cressida wasnt refering to any of these up and coming products from Mathmos: http://www.mathmos.com/new-products-22401-0.html Nothing there really pushes my buttons tbh, just more LED stuff :(

They are well dodgy lol, they lurch so I try not to use them. Love the flock btw -- might have to look into that!

 

Think the World Cup Baby's were a bit random -  bring back flocks I say! I wrote to Cressida a few weeks ago just asking about possiblity of a smaller large lamp if you know what i mean and a poss relaunch of glitter or metallics - something different she said she couldn't say anything more than watch this space and a load of !!!! so here's hoping!

Hey Spencer, Yeh i had the same problem and they sent me a new bottle which was fine. They had a run of dodgy bottles that wouldnt sit on the base properly, how they got past QC god knows. I used the wonky bottle on my flocked base as i was able to get it to sit securely after a little tinkering.

Is your base or bottle a little off perfect? I got mine through and the bottle would keep falling quite scarily to one side and I emailed Mathmos who said it had been a common problem with these ones? Random. They sent e another one which was really nice. Just have to keep my eye on them!
