So, after much debating, I've decided to send it back to Amazon. As Keith mentioned, it's just not worth what I paid for it. If I'm going to spend that kind of money it needs to be worth it. Not sure if I will order from LL or just get a 52 oz. yellow/ blue or get the pink heritage grande (that pink color looks so pretty).

My orange/black isn't that hazy, flow isn't bad for china.....I even get a snakey here and there, lol!!!  May just keep it....I am running it on a 60 watter however with dimmer......

I don't know about the clarity.  You may like the flow enough to keep it as is, or you may dislike the flow.  The ultimate question will be is the quality worth the cost.

Well, what is your warranty like?  Do you have the timeframe where you can cycle it for a month and still be able to send it back if it doesn't clear?  and will you notice a slight change in a few weeks whereas you can go on that (keith, do you think she will see a change in a few weeks if there is any sign of clearing?).....I know Keith has been into lava way longer then I, so if you have the time to give it a chance, I would.  I know my vintage usa lamps arrived hazy last summer and I cycled them for a few weeks and they cleared nicely.  Weird thing with those is when I don't run them for awhile (like all summer) then fire them up, they are hazy again until I give them a good run or 2.  I don't know if this is normal with the usa vintage.  It's kind of like they settle too much, then need another break in run.  Weird.  And they both kind of do it.  My Enchantress and blue swirl.....

 

Now on the other hand, if you have a touch of OCD with your lamps as some of us do, and it bothers you too much, then mine as well just send it back.  I'm waiting for my orange/black to come as we speak.  Stupid FedEx handed it off to USPS for delivery today.  I hope they don't bash it around too much...uuuugh...
