So this is the 3rd yellow/ blue grande that I have received from Amazon. #1 was pretty clear, but the globe had damage in a couple areas and the base was dented. #2 was so cloudy that you couldn't see the lava and the light didn't reach the top, base dented. #3, pictured, slightly cloudy, globe in great condition, no dents in the base. I just don't know what to do. I'm spoiled because my anniversary grande is crystal clear. Decisions, decisions.

One of my most favorite lava lamps ever is a 52 oz yellow/blue from 1997. It has fantastic flow and looks great. You can look for one on ebay.
I bought a yellow/blue grande used a few years ago. It is not a good lamp, hopefully this works out for you.
If it doesn't clear up after cycling it, back it'll go... again! I've always wanted a yellow/ blue LL since I first discovered them back in the day. Maybe I should just go with a 52 oz. if I can find one @ Spencer's. Maybe I will try a pink heritage grande, what girl doesn't love pink?!?
If you think it's going to bother you, back it would go!!! Lava lamps are supposed to be for enjoyment, not to get your OCD going, lol!!! Plus, you probably won't even end up lighting it much if you don't really like it for whatever reason and that's just hard earned money down the drain. Think of it this way...you could send it back, get your money refunded (I would say look 3 strikes your out) and get something you are going to luv from LL!!!
