A nice orange would look nice with the black base or a yellow......truth be told, I think mostly anything looks good with black except maybe black lava with a black base, but I don't know. I had the black lava on the silver base and didn't like it. It was too blaaa for me. I like color to POP!! Ya know what I do? I look at other member's pics for ideas, lol!!! You could even keep the lava white on the black base. I was kind of liking the white goo before I colored it. It looks really clean looking. Like when it first snows in the wee hours of the morning. That is exactly what it reminded me of.
Paul, I just did a nice violet/clear on my 52 oz and a red on my 20 oz, but it looks more like an orange to me sometimes. I always go with either my fav color or what color lamp I don't have in my collection. I'm liking that emerald green wax that's in the LL Clearview, but I have no clue if that color can even be made by blending. I'm a novice at goo kitting, but had fun and my lamps came out really nice. They are posted in my pics and vids and are the only ones that I have done. I have done fluid changes with these same lamps, only for them to recloud up terribly. Orange is always nice too. What color are your bases??
