It likely won't happen. Or at least not anytime soon. I have no idea what causes some to fade and others not.

Well, I mean it faded. Started fading to clear. No idea why, so I dumped it. Happens sometimes to old glitter. The shiny coating of the glitter gets "eaten" off by whatever solvent they put in there.

What a find LIbby! Congrats! I have the French version of this lamp. The glitter got "eaten" so I lava'd it. :)

You know my fear of knock offs.  I was terrified I spent 65 bucks on a fake.  Apparently not, thank Heavens!!!  I am stoked, but not as much as you are right now.......Snort......nuff said.

Thank you, Jonas, I loved it too and was really lucky to get it.  I could have never afforded one off ebay.   Thanks too for the advice about the bulb, I certainly don't want to warp the base!
