A man of many hobbies. I got really into this when I repaired a Lava lamp for my Mom. The bulb was frozen in place and the lava wouldn't rise. I then stared in amazement at how great it worked. I got the bug. My new love is the Lantern style Lava lamps and fixing more lamps. I love it!

The first one I had, no longer worked so I sold it at a garage sale. I was amazed that the woman really wanted it. Flash forward decades later and now I understand why she wanted it; It was fixable! I bought a newer one but it didn't attract my attention like the older one. The lava behaved differently.
