I have recently was rummaging thru my old stuff and dug out an old lava lamp. I don't remember purchasing it (maybe I lifted it from one of those grand old party's).Of course I don't remember much of anything from the sixtys as I was pretty much stoned during that period. Now I am old decrepit and sober. Looking into my past.now back to this lamp. I fired it up It came on and started working within a few minutes. It is a silver base with yellow goo. Now here is where I am questioning. The liquid in the bottle is a pale yellow to my nearest recollection this was originally Dark blue liquid. Is there any way of restoring the original color with out disturbing the ecological balance within? It still has the original seal (bottle cap style). And has never been tampered with.
