The same Lamp I have had my entire life! model 8200 N from Lava - Simplex Corp. manufacturing date is Mar. 1979. I hope this helps in clearing up your timeline for when the Enchantress Planter was still being made under the name of Simplex Corp or any of the other models made. It’s a amazing story and even more amazing lamp to own.

I used to have a larger collection but nearly all were very new and recent models. I love lava lamps but when I rediscovered my Simplex Corp lamp I became disenchanted with the newer models and styles. Nothing compares to an authentic lava lamp. So I gave my collection to my children and cousins so they could enjoy them. I look forward to seeking out the other models from Lava-Simplex Corp however I’m only looking for lamps made in the 70s.
