Grande redo
Trying to get my Grande to be electric blue; In this picture it looks closer to the color i want then what i have, what i have is almost purple/blueberry.Should i add more blue dye i used 2 containers so far

Is there anything you can get to top off a lamp or do i need to change the fluid all the way? Looking at distilled water and good kits off lava lamp creations

- My First Lava Lamp was:
- A purple wax and blue liquid lava lite, 2006 so post production shift, I still have it it has a few glass defects in it and is dim because of the colors but It’s still kicking, I can’t be 100% sure it’s the same base I had 4 of the 14.5 inch Bases around then and moved the jars between them
- My Collection Includes this many Lava Lamps:
- 7 today, 3 casualties along my career since 06, today I have a grande from the latest Amazon batch pink wax purple fluid shows up as mostly red but my wax started sticking to the walls rather early on I might have overheated it (I’m looking at wax replacement kits or adding surfactant) , 16.3inch pink wax and teal fluid but the wax is getting peach colored and clear which is neat but not what it used to be, 16.3 inch purple fluid yellow wax good clarity wax looks red also has a red and teal base, 14.5 inch red wax clear fluid but there is some fog on the glass and in the fluid I want to clear up, 14.5 inch white wax clear fluid red yellow orange painted bottle with lava painted base (might get another from target for cheap and try scraping the paint off) , 14.5 inch black base yellow wax blue fluid clarity is good and lamp is bright, 14.5 inch blue and purple my first lamp it’s dim but works /// casualties: black and clear 14.5 with a decent amount of fog knocked over at a party, 14.5 in teal and clear stolen from me after a party I think or it broke and no one wanted to tell me, another teal and clear I got recently came with heavy fog and I cracked the glass when I was doing my first epsom salt fluid replacement

- Is very hard to tell each one I got at a different part in my life and carry different value, in terms of what I keep on my desk with me most often it’s my 16.3 yellow wax purple fluid I have been backliting it with white light recently which makes the purple come through and not turn red, all around it has the most clarity and symbolizes a time of financial stability achieved and I started getting bigger lamps but I could write a whole paragraph about any of my lamps
