My First Lava Lamp was:: An original Lava Lite Century®, purchased for me by my maternal grandmother at The Broadway in 1966, when I was in the eighth grade.

My Favorite Lava Lamp is:: A custom-finished (textured black with prismatic glitter) Giant® with blue liquid and yellow wax.

Have been delighted with the purchase. Wife also wants to get a second one at this point as the first one has been so impressive. Speaking of which... you may want to reach out to Susan Michaels at Lava Lite. There is a rumor that they may offer these again as part of their 50th Anniversary celebration.
